• RULES OF ENGAGEMENT

It is our hope that all members can benefit from active participation on our website, in an environment that facilitates learning, sharing and socialising. As the number of members and visitors grows, certain guidelines for participation in our forums, blogs, and faqs, need to be established. These 'rules of engagement' will not be difficult to adhere to since really they are a mix of commonsense, good manners, and respect. Trolling, and abusive or inflammatory language will not be tolerated. When posting a question, answer, or comment, sign of with your member name. If asked to identify yourself, please acknowledge and respond to the request with good humour - after all not all of the members have met each other. Adequate identification is your name or member name, and the name of your Instructor. Supposed rank or seniority should not be used - for example; "such and such is done like this 'cause I say so and I'm an Instructor/Teacher/27th Dan/Black Belt"; for such rank pulling simply stifles discussion, exploration, and learning, therefore has no place in open forums. Addressing someone by title is best left for formal occasions, perhaps class settings, formal interviews, etc.. So post freely to the forums, blogs, and faqs question & answer section of this your website. Please share, and enjoy. Kevin.
